I explain to my clients the ways in which choosing a  Corporation or Limited Liability Company as a business entity can provide protection of their personal assets. 

After the formation of a Corporation or LLC, I meet with my clients and conduct the first business meeting in my office.  At this meeting, the formalities of corporate structure and operation are explained, including:

-issuance of certificates for stocks or units of ownership.

-designation of the board of directors and officers or managing members.

-legal requirements for annual meetings and service of legal process with the  secretary of state.
